He even recommended the chicken and waffles and breakfast burger, which we ended up ordering. When I tell you my husband had an out of body experience eating those chicken and waffles with strawberry butter and spicy syrup, it is not a joke. I could see him shedding a tear of joy (and my husband doesn’t dry) while eating ALL of the food. He left no crumbs! Hands down the best server at Metro Diner! Make sure you ask for Anthony!
We are regulars at the Diner now. We’ve never had a meal or service that was any less than exceptional. The consistently high quality Metro Diner provides should be the goal of every dining establishment. Tonight, MUCH thanks to Eli for simply amazing service to go along with our incredible meal. Stopped here on a roadtrip back home and so glad we found this place! Breakfast was amazing, portions generous, service was quick. The place was packed! We were sat quickly. We talk about this place all the time and will plan stops here anytime we’re on the route. Yum!!
Their food and service is awesome, we didn't even take pictures of it because when it came so hot and fresh. We all instantly prayed and started eating. My daughter and her NaNa had a blast. Thabk You Metro Diner!!
I love the diner experience and this place was perfect. I didn’t care for the bacon but the waffle was great and so was the service.
Our waiter, Steven, was absolutely awesome and went above and beyond our expectations. His service truly made the experience even better. The food was amazing as well — we ordered the Chicken with Cinnamon Bun pancakes and the Shrimp and Grits, and everything was delicious. The place was not crowded and pleasant atmosphere. Great service, great food, and a wonderful overall experience. Highly recommend!

As always for many years this location has never disappointed us. The people are great and friendly! The food has always been great! With my omelet and biscuit, I had sausage gravy and mushrooms over my home fries. The taste was to die for! Our waitress was friendly and attentive to our needs. She was great!
Metro Diner is a regular stop for us. The food is consistently good, and we always receive amazing service, even when the restaurant is slammed. You can definitely tell both servers and the kitchen want to be here. We’ve had Eli as our server twice now and both times he’s been speedy and exceeds our expectations in terms of service. To the whole family out! It was about 9 of us. We wanted to sit together but we sat at tables next to each other. That was the only disappointment but wasn't a big deal! Ann was our server and she was amazing! Everything was right, drinks stayed filled! The food was amazing! The children's portion size was just enough! I had the steak and egg bowl and it was delicious! Hubby had the hot honey chicken biscuit and fries that he devoured! We shared cheese fries with fried jalapenos and it was AMAZING! When I say I want fries... Metro's fries is what I want! The children bragged about the chicken and waffles! All around it was good service, good food and a good time!
